Abstract
The sugar-inositol portion of the novel glycosylinositol-phosphoceramides, ZGL1 and ZGL2, from the filamentus fungi, Acremonium sp., were elucidated by a combination of NMR techniques including 1H-1H (COSY and HOHAHA) and 1H-13C (HMQC and HMBC) spectroscopy. Further, examination of the 1H-31P HMQC spectrum showed connectivity of inositol and ceramide through phosphate.
