Abstract

Monourethanediol synthesized from aminoalcohol and ethylene carbonate was polymerized with diethyl adipate using lipase into poly(ester-urethane)s having a moleculor weight of approximately 84,000. Thermal properties, biodegradability and chemical recyclability of the polymer were also evaluated.
