Abstract

Electric vehicles have not been used widely in the society although they have big merit to solve environmental problem The reasons are that the performance of them are lower and they have no new merit compared with conventional vehicles. From this reason we have been developing several ground up electric vehicles whose performances are comparable with conventional vehicles. To spread electric vehicles widely, big surprises are required to persuade people to use electric vehicles. If the surprise is bigger it can be accepted easier in the society. We believe the best performance to show the surprise of automobile is the maximum speed. The biggest numbers of questions have been the maximum speed when we have been shown our electric vehicles in the public. The second interest for an electric vehicle is the acceleration Because to enjoy acceleration people wants to buy a big engine car. For these reasons, we believe an ultra speed and big acceleration vehicle is valuable to make big surprise in an electric vehicle. Besides, if people convince to use an electric vehicle, it must be comfortable and enjoyable on a normal road Summarizing these ideas we made a concept of a cross over passenger car named Eliica.
