Thermal diffusivity of graphite sheet at low temperatures

The temperature dependence of the in-plane thermal diffusivity and the out-of-plane thermal diffusivity for graphite sheet over the temperature range from 30 to 375 K, and the in-plane anisotropy at room temperature measured by a laser-heating AC calorimetric method, are reported. It was found that the value of the in-plane thermal diffusivity was significantly greater than that of the out-of-plane direction. It was also found that the in-plane thermal diffusivity did not show any directional dependence.
