Towards deterministic perfect soliton crystals in microtoroids with saturable absorption

Abstract

We utilized silica microtoroid resonators to achieve high repetition rate mode-locking and perfect soliton crystals. We then transfer graphene onto microtoroids to enable saturable absorption and study the impacts on its properties, including the Q value.
