We reviewed 56 consecutive juvenile cases of orbital tumor during the past 14 years. All were under 15 years of age. The series comprised 27 males and 29 females. The age distribution showed a peak at 2 years comprising 14 cases. All were unilaterally involved except one. The orbital tumor was located intraconally 7 cases, intra- and extraconally 8 cases, and extraconally 41 cases. Surgery or biopsy was performed via orbitotomy 49 cases, craniotomy 7 cases, and transconjunctivally 1 case. Out of 49 cases that underwent orbitotomy, 6 cases needed additional osteoplastic osteotomy. Histopathologically, 51 cases (91%) were diagnosed with benign tumor and 5 cases (9%) with malignant one. The most common tumor was dermoid cyst (50%) followed by angioma (23%).
