抄録
We experienced a case of inferior mesenteric arteriovenous fistula presented with ischemic colitis. Prominent venous congestion by occlusion of the inferior mesenteric vein and focal blood stealing by arteriovenous fistula were co-existed in this case. We presumed that the increase in venous pressure caused by inferior mesenteric vein occlusion might lead to the formation of the arteriovenous fistula. Interestingly, the arteriovenous fistula resolved spontaneously a few months later with conservative treatment.
