Purpose: To report a case of squamous carcinoma of the orbit originating from the bulbar conjunctiva. Case: A 79-year-old woman had lost vision in her right eye due to trauma at the age of 3 years. She had been wearing artificial eye since the age of 25 years. She visited us complaining of a tumor mass in the upper eyelid followed by difficulty in inserting the artificial eye. Biopsy led to the diagnosis of well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. Diagnostic imaging showed a tumor mass in the right orbit. She was treated by surgical removal of tumor and eyeball. Remnant portion of the tumor received radiation totalling 46 Gy. Result: The patient has been doing well without recurrence during 9 months after surgery. Conclusion: Total excision is the treatment of choice for squamous carcinoma of the orbit, to be followed by radiation when indicated.
