N2 - Parotid tumors have a various pathological and clinical features. In general, facial nerve palsy does not occur in cases of benign parotid tumors, even in large sizes. In contrast malignant tumors often cause facial nerve palsy even at an early stage. We encountered an adult case of a rapidly enlarged parotid tumor with facial nerve palsy. We suspected a malignant tumor and performed an early surgery. After parotidectomy, the pathologic diagnosis confirmed hemangioma, a benign tumor, which rarely occurs in adults.
