2 control strategies were compared: The pulse frequency control and the pulse width control. The model used in this study is a combination of 2 models Riener et al. proposed: force output model and knee angle output model. Because there were no specific details about the pulse generator, we made a model that can fire pulse with different rates. We used NN as a feed forward and Gain Scheduling PID as feedback controller for control strategy. For comparison, a proposed fatigue cost function and tracking error function were used. As a result frequency control suppressed the fatigue more but the pulse width control had better tracking performance.
