N2 - Fiber-based schemes for controlling quantum correlation between frequency bands of an ultrashort pulse to generate photon-number squeezing are studied. By employing a microstructured fiber of which zero-dispersion wavelength is 820 nm, significantly large photon-number squeezing of -4.6 dB is obtained without shaping an input pulse. Influence of spatio-temporal coupling at the pulse shaper on the control of quantum correlation is discussed.
