抄録
CAE systems require mesh data for analysis, but high quality mesh takes considerable time to generate. When a design shape needs to be modified as the result of evaluation, the CAD operation must be redone and mesh data regenerated every time. For this reason, an efficient method of utilizing CAE is desired. In this research, modification of design shapes was attempted by modifying the mesh without redoing the CAD operation. A method of reconstructing CAD data automatically from mesh data after modification was also proposed.
