N2 - In this paper, we propose a method using adaptive extended Kalman filter (AEKF) to estimate inter-story drift angles of all stories from modal responses of a tall building. Along with the inter-story drift angles, natural frequencies, damping ratios are to be estimated. Feasibility of the proposed method is demonstrated by comparing with the existing method.
