抄録

Flexible shaping in both the phase and amplitude of ultrashort pulses amplified by a regenerative amplifier was experimentally demonstrated. An acousto-optic programmable dispersion filter (AOPDF) was placed before the pulse stretcher to achieve the pulse shaping. The output pulses were measured by a frequency-resolved optical grating (FROG) technique. The amplified pulses were programmed following dispersion compensation to control group delay and amplitude of each spectral component of the input pulse.
