抄録

Turbulent structures of a flat plate turbulent boundary layer diffusion flame have been investigated experimentally. A hydrogen/nitrogen mixture was used as a fuel. Instantaneous velocities parallel and normal to the free streamwise direction were measured simultaneously, using a polarized four beam laser Doppler velocimeter. Mean and rms values of each velocity, cross correlation of two velocity components (Reynolds stress) and higher order correlations of two velocities were calculated. The profiles of higher order correlations show that the values are smaller than those of lower ones.
