N2 - The isobaric heat capacity, Cp, of liquid HFC-134a, which is a prospective alternative to CFC-12, has been measured by using a flow calorimeter. The values of 31 Cphave been determined at temperatures from 276 to 356 K and pressures from 1.0 to 3.0 MPa. The uncertainty was estimated to be within ±10 mK in temperature, ±3 kPa in pressure, and ±0.3% in Cp, respectively. The Cpof saturated liquid, Cp, has been determined on the basis of the data measured in the compressed liquid phase, and a correlation of Cp' has also been developed.
