Kondo effect on the transport properties of asymmetric dimer of quantum dots

研究成果: Article査読

抄録

The Kondo effect in asymmetric quantum dot dimer connected in series is studied based on the slave boson formalism of the Anderson model. When the dot-dot tunneling coupling is larger than the level broadening, the bonding and antibonding peaks of the Kondo resonances are observed. When the energy level difference between the two dots is large, the plateau structure of the conductance as a function of the gate voltage appears. The conductance at the plateau decreases as the dot-dot coupling increases, reflecting larger splitting of the bonding and anti-bonding peaks.
