This paper describes an inorganic/organic composite with controlled internal morphology fabricated in a microfluidic channel. Surprisingly, the obtained composite shows macroscopic tape-morphology attributed to its nanoscopic structures. The structure consists of a metal oxide, vanadium pentoxide and a conductive polymer, polyaniline (Figure 1). We found that the composite tape-structure includes aligned internal morphology; nanofibers are aligned along the long-axis of the tape. By virtue of its aligned internal morphology, electrical conductivity along the long-axis was as high as 5 S m-1, which was 65 times higher than that along the short-axis.
