The space and time coupling of the profile of a shaped pulse directly from a pulse shaper was verified. The effect of space and time coupling appears on the identical axis as the spatially dispersion direction of the grating. For the purpose of detaching the space information from the time information, the beam profile was rotated by 90 degrees with a pair of mirrors before the pulse incidence into the spectrometer.
