抄録
The poor regenerative potency of the adult mammalian central nervous system (CNS) results from its restricted ability to replenish cells lost to injury or disease as well as the presence of various inhibitors that prevent histological and functional recovery. In this review, I summarize our recent efforts that take advantage of neural stem cells to conquer this difficult challenge.
