N2 - In previous papers, we introduced the working set concept for data-flow machines. Several policies were proposed for working set management. Preliminary evaluation was made for the proposed policies. This paper describes the result of thorough evaluation of the proposed policies in terms of feasibility, efficiency, and performance, through computer simulations. Two programs written in an applicative (functional) programming language were used. Based on these results, a working set policy for multiprogramming on data-flow architecture is also presented.
