This paper describes simultaneous detections of a single DNA molecule using a biological nanopore in an array device (Figure 1a). In the previous report, we have successfully reconstituted α-hemolysin αHL) in bilayer lipid membranes (BLMs) using droplets contacting method[1]. In this research, we attempted to detect single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) translocation events through the protein channel. As a result, we succeeded in observing ssDNA translocation events in 15ch simultaneously. We believe that this method can be applied to an automated and high-throughput DNA analysis.
