N2 - Random depolarization film, a polymer film doped with birefringent particles, can resolve blackout and color change problems of existing displays. This study optimized the dopant particle size with respect to image sharpness and color change of the display. Calcite microparticles improved the sharpness and color change, and realized real-color displays.
