The active stabilization of the amplified pulse timing was studied using spectral-resolved upconversion. A cross-correlation technique for the timing-error detection of the amplified pulses was modified. The performance of the jitter reduction system was also discussed. The results showed that the rms timing jitter of the regenerative amplifier was reduced from 5.0 fs to 0.6 fs by actively controlling the amplifier cavity length.
