title = "Two dimensional sequential cell assembly by sliding a parylene filter",
abstract = "We demonstrated the two-dimensional assembly of cell clusters in a plane by sliding parylene filter with cell-trapping sites. Gently trapping cells in a designated order while maintaining the contact between them is necessary to investigate cell-cell interactions. Therefore, we developed the mechanical cell trapping system using a parylene filter which was slid to sequentially trap cells in a straight line and control the order. In this study, by using the cell-trapping system, we succeeded in assembling the two-dimensional cell clusters with a cross-shape and an elephant-shape. This system is readily applicable to analysis cell-cell interaction in biological tissue.",
